We are working hard into making the
Library grounds a beautiful place.
We are making natural bird &
butterfly garden. A bench/seat & birdhouses will come eventually.
We have been using a lot of herbs and natural plants and have been doing very
well. We have lavenders, salvias, yarrow, catmint, Mexican marigold,
chrysanthemum, flax, blanket flowers, cranesbill, agapanthas, & more.
The hydrangeas also do well and look lovely all summer. We are very
pleased with the Japanese maples. The
columbines and primroses are finished, the begonias & impatiens have taken
over, and the caladiums are coming up.
So next time you visit, be sure to appreciate the abundant beauty of our gardening efforts!
